First of all, let me say that this is the cleanest automotive place that I have ever been in, dare I say, cleaner than dealerships as well. it looks like a very nice place to stay and wait for your car though I chose to have their really nice driver drive me home. They looked over my automobile for a problem that I already knew existed, I just wanted a second opinion. They came in much lower than the dealership quote. They also did their 10 point safety inspection over my whole vehicle and didn’t try to sell me on any other unnecessary repairs. I paid around $100 for the diagnosis but I know they had many many hours into my car, I feel bad how little I ended up paying. I will definitely go back to them the next time anything happens with my vehicle.

Good service, timely and fairly priced. The recommended services might be aggressive though. They recommended spark plugs but my owners manual says 100k miles, not the 60k suggested.

Our car broke down on the side of the road, and we had no idea where to have it towed to. AAA recommended this garage and so we went with it. They got our car right in to be evaluated, called us the same day with an estimate and we had our car back in good working condition the next day. We were grateful for the fast turn-around and the friendly service.

Found a used car over the weekend and left Tom Pavek a voicemail message on Sunday that I’d like AutoCentric to do a used car inspection as soon as they they could fit it in. Sure enough, they not only fit us in, they had the inspection done by noon on Monday. Love my new / used car and love working with AutoCentric - they are awesome!

Friendly, honest, and trustworthy! I had a nail in my tire and was told by a different place that I needed to replace the tire but they could do just one I had to get all 4 replaced. I was quoted over $900. I took my car to AutoCentric for a second opinion. The nail in the tire was only stuck in the tread! They took it out and I was on my way. I will be back when I actually need tires. Integrity is hard to find but you will find it here.

I cannot rave enough about the service I received at Auto Centric! Jim provided me with great communication, they fit my vehicle into their schedule earlier than my original appointment, and my bill ended up being VERY cheap. My vehicle would not start and I had it towed in expecting a major fix and a large bill and their diagnostic skills (and honesty of how simple the fix was) blew me away. I will be a loyal customer going forward, and have already referred them to a family member.

Auto Centric has been going above and beyond for me as a customer for a couple years now. A couple years ago I found myself stuck in a snowstorm with a dead car battery and unable to get to work. I took a leap of faith since they were close to my residence & they offered to personally come to me and to help me out in a time of need. I brought my car in for that new battery and have been getting services done with them ever since. I can't say enough good things about their kindness and customer service. They always squeeze me in when in a pinch, always explain issues in the greatest of detail, and make it super affordable. I would recommend anyone go to Auto Centric for any services needed, I found my home base for any of my car needs, and am thankful for that!

I am very pleased with the service I've received at Auto Centric. I've had my car there a few times as well as my husband's car before I sold it. Every time I feel like the car has been well evaluated, suggestions have been made as to what needed to be done, and they were able to complete all work during the same visit. Last June Auto Centric replaced the alternator on my daughter's vehicle, recently it fail, we contacted Auto Centric and they immediately scheduled an appt. determined that it was a failed alternator and took the need steps to replace it. Still under warranty and they stood behind it. In today's times that is becoming a rarity. Thank you Auto Centric.

My son’s car that was purchased two days ago broke down and AAA towed it to Auto Centric. They attempted to give us an estimate on the repair, but the bottom of this car was rusted out. They took pictures to show us how badly deteriorated the frame was. They were completely honest about the cost to repair it, and we decided to return it to Shoreline Motors in Muskegon, where it was purchased. I was amazed they didn’t just nickel and dime us like most places in GR. They were honest about their assessment, highly professional, and so kind.

I'm a long time customer of AutoCentric and always appreciate their attentive service. I'm after the 300,000 mile club with my 2007 Honda Ridgeline. I also have a 20 year old Lexus coupe and it has been at the local Lexus dealer for almost a month. With AutoCentric I get regular communication, updates, estimates etc. Not so with the Lexus dealer. I like to be kept up to date, and AutoCentric does so. They are the only mechanics to have touched my Honda.

I've experienced excellent service at Auto Centric. Regardless if major (timing/water pump) or a simple oil change, I've had no issues scheduling or with service performed. In the case of my brakes, they even followed up a couple of weeks later to ensure all was well.

Typically I don't write a review but this is an exception. Other car repair shops couldn't take on the challenge to work on exhaust manifolds, especially on full size pickup trucks. This was my third attempt to find a shop and they welcomed the challenge. The warranty on their workmanship is longer than any shop in the GR area. The quality of work and efficiency was impressive.

Your mechanic could easily just quoted me the cost of repairs on my BMW but went above and beyond to research a possible warranty coverage for the expensive repair and recommended I have it serviced at the dealership. This saved me thousands of dollars!

Excellent friendly service once again. Been a customer just short of 40 years and have always had good experiences whether a large repair or a simple oil change. I’m sure that Autocentric has saved me some “on-the-road” breakdowns over the years by always suggesting various preventive maintenance items. My most recent service was a very competitively priced oil and transmission fluid change. They did the work in a very timely fashion. Wish all companies could be as efficient as Autocentric.

Auto Centric always goes above and beyond. I am selling my 8 yr old Honda CRV to family friends. It has this rattle for only a few seconds when I start it cold - SOMETIMES. I was trying to resolve it before I transferred title. Of course it would not do it for them. I asked if they could guess what it was and offer suggested price quotes - they patiently offered multiple options. Being very patient with a person who knows nothing about cars and explained each one. I know that was a lot of work for no financial return. I highly recommend Auto Centric!

The first time I was there thats all I did and when I was due for another oil change I was so happy with the service I ended up getting a full tune up and also purchased 2 sets of tires! I received a call from Jeff confirming my information and he began to work on the estimate and also suggested some tests that ended up saving me money on the repairs. Everything can be handled online for contactless transactions! The bill included comments by the mechanic along with photos of the repair from start to finish! Jeff and the rest of his team are awesome. I had a total break failure at 9 in the morning. They provided me a loaner car so I could pick up my kids from school. By four o'clock that afternoon I had my van back and it was breaking like new! They also provide a detailed listing of other things that they could fix. I didn't feel pressured at all and knowing what to expect going forward was a relief. Last note, when you use the chat feature on this site you are actually talking to a real human being, which is refreshing now a days. 10/10 would bring my vehicle to them again!

Good mechanics are hard to find. My previous shop had replaced their more experienced mechanics with several younger guys and appeared to be training them on their customer's cars| their cost, quality and timeliness were really starting to suffer. I had some work done at Auto Centric when we moved to Grand Rapids a few years ago and they did a good job, but they're farther away so I didn't go back until now. It is worth the drive. We keep our cars a long time and are willing to spend a bit more to keep them in good shape. My 2002 Camry had reached the 200,000 mile mark so it needed quite a bit done. Auto Centric did a great job in a timely way for what I consider a good price. I give Auto Centric five gold stars.

Needed my alternator replaced and of course this never happens at a good time. Recommend by AAA so I was towed there. Did a great job and even though they were busy, it was done in a day an a half! Thank you Auto Centric!!

My wife and I have been getting our vehicles serviced by Tom and Jim since the early 80's. We have never experienced a problem with them. Their service is consistently excellent and they always go above and beyond in treating their customers right. Greg at the front desk is top-notch as well - very knowledgeable and helpful. We highly recommend taking your vehicles to Autocentric.

From the first phone call, they exuded confidence and calm, and all the way through the repairs were professional and explained everything great. I felt very at east and that I could trust their opinion and work. Also they were super fast and cheaper than another shop I called! Will definitely keep them in mind for the future.

I would recommend Auto Centric to my friends fair pricing compared to other places they even gave me a ride home & back to pick up my car when it was done and to me that was a plus when I only have one car.

I've been cared for by AutoCentric for three decades, at least. Lots of cars and trucks, domestic and foreign. I am always pleased with the fastidious care that is given to me, and my vehicles. If I need a loaner, it is there. Scheduled maintenance is followed and I've got over 200k miles on a Honda Odyssey, 197k on a Honda Ridgeline, 110k on a CRV. In the past I had a 1978 Dodge Ram rebuilt, Mitsubishi Eclipse, GMC Safari, and other vehicles over the years. Not the cheapest place, but they are careful with my vehicles and I have no surprises. I recommend them highly.

I was looking for an alternative to the expensive dealership, and Auto Centric came up in my Google search. I gave them a call, they were able to fit me in, and had a 30K mile service done for a bit less than the dealer. The staff are courteous, professional, and most informative about my Honda Accord. have been a customer for over thirty years. They are the only shop I will use. Service is great. They stand behind their work. The last visit was to verify what a dealer told me about a warranty repair. Auto Centric inspected the vehicle and stated what they found, which was different from the dealer's determination. I went back to the dealer, because it was warranty work, with my new information. The dealer agreed with Auto Centric's analysis.

After reading all the positive reviews online, we decided to call Auto Centric and set up an appointment for our Honda CRV. From our opening conversation on the phone, to the initial greeting upon my arrival at the shop, to the diagnostic test that was performed, and to the clarity of the explanation...everything was FIRST CLASS, PROFESSIONAL, and OUTSTANDING CUSTOMER SERVICE. It's a very caring environment. I highly recommend Auto Centric and will definitely be using them to service our vehicle in the future.

We made an appointment for what we thought we needed and prepared our budget to spend $450. After initial testing, Greg called us and let us know the noise we were hearing was coming from noisy tires and we didn’t need to replace parts. Auto centric always has it’s customers best interest at heart. Customer service is top knotch!

I decided to stop by this place because of all the really good reviews. Turns out it was the right choice. I was able to get my car to them after hours and it was fix by the next day.
